I'm really more impressed with his world map, I'm not quite sure how he did it, but it looks great!

I should prolly give you a run down on whats real and not real in this page so you guys can tell lol!

Ok so from the top, the three panels are real with some tones over the top,
THe next panel is entirely real except for the world map of which i got an outline map of the world and made it small to fit. i was far to scared of it not fitting to actually try it!! though resizing probabaly took just as long as it would have if i had drawn it...damn you folded paper!

ok next panel is real, hand drawn united states and everything, and then the cityline is a tone, (duh), but i think probabaly likely to be of somehwere in asia haha.

Next we have completely hand draswn except for the rhode island tone which is...HALF AND HALF!
yeah what i did was actually take an image of rhode island (a simplified physical map mind you) and then i made it into my very own tone. purely because i knew id never be able to make it!

the rest of course is hand drawn.

(god this post was longer than intended, but i hope you enjoyed the insight)

Well, I dinnae really know how many people read these comments, but I certainly found it interesting. You did a great job with the stuff--much of it looks high-quality hand drawn, even if it's mostly resized/toned, etc...

yeah i hope people read them and get something from them.
and in response, yeah i try and do everything i can handmade, and resort to tones and other techniques later.
in fact one of the main reason why i didn't hand draw the worl was because i couldn't find a nice image, but meh it looks good.

Aye--Still, even if it's not handmade and whatnot, I'm just impressed by how well they blend in pretty much seamlessly with therest of the page and such...(Well, not panel five I guess, but the live action was a good effect considering the cirumstances...)

haha yeah i just felt i needed something to convey the size of the cities these people think theya re going to and how america is supposed to be all like this.

which reminds me, En can you come on MSN i have to ask a question but i dont want to ruin annnything for plot of the next like 5 pages.
